Clippers sign Deandre Jordan to a 4 year, 40mm contract and send him and Ryan Gomes to the Sixers
Why the Sixers do it: they acquire a 23 year old center who can rebound and defend. He will never be a primary scoring option (nor secondary, tertiary, etc) but his age and athletic ability are a fit with the Sixers youth. Plus, it solves the obvious Iguodala-Turner overlap problem and allows Turner to play SF.
Why the Clippers do it: they might not match offers for Deandre Jordan, so they would lose him without compensation. They are going after Dwight Howard next offseason. Trading for Iguodala creates a more attractive situation for Howard, and dumping Gomes leaves them plenty of space to offer the max. They would have a potentially ridiculous lineup of Bledsoe/Gordon/Iguodala/Griffin/Howard.
(if you don't end a trade idea with BAM, you can't be taken seriously)
