Story: New ownership group unveils plans
(With video interviews)
Here is a portion of the story from Tuesday's news conference:
"We want to be world class and cutting edge in everything we do," said Joshua Harris.
The backdrop featured giant red banners from the Sixers' five conference champions, with the 1966-67 and 1982-83 title teams in the middle.
The Sixers reached the NBA Finals once (2000-01) in Comcast-Spectacor's 15 years as owners.
"I can assure you we will be active, long-term owners who care deeply about this team," Harris said.

They definitely made a good first impression. Cutting the prices on tickets like that is a big step in getting people back into the building and getting everyone excited. Now hopefully we can actually watch them play some basketball soon.

"THE TIME TO WIN IS NOW" - Coach Hue Jackson
So, Raider Nation, it is time to get on board the Hue Train or get the Hell off for good. This is the way it is going to be around here. If a 7th and 4th-5th Rounder get you Aaron Curry instead of a couple of crapshoot draft picks and if dealing away a couple of first rounders gets the team an opportunity to fully implement Hue's game plan, then you should be happy, because this team is standing behind their motto, "Just Win Baby" and it is the furthest thing from "Suck for Luck". Imagine if you were a fan of a team that actually buys into that!?!
Cheers,
