What are you excited for this season in the NBA?

Let's keep this non-Sixer related but discuss what you are looking forward to this season in the NBA. For me, the top 5 is as follows (in no order):

- The chemistry of the Heat

I may be one of the few non-Heat fans who is excited about the big 3 signing for the same team. I want to see them get the best of every team each night and try to make a run at 72 wins. It will be interesting to see how Wade and James play together, if James can average a triple double and who will take the shots at the end of the game.

- The recovery of Yao Ming

With Ming's limited minutes, it will be interesting to see if he can stay healthy for a full season or if he is doomed to have health problems for his entire career. I also want to see how the Rockets will handle the situation and if they stick to the plan and play him in the appropiate games of a back to back (the division games or the tougher games instead of always playing him the first game of a back to back).

- Blake Griffin

Can he bounce back from a knee injury and be the dynamic player I think he can be? I can easily see him being an Amare Stoudemire like player and with the roster they have, I hope the Clippers run more and increase their pace from the 92.6 it was last season.

- The continued growth of Kevin Durant and the Thunder

Gosh, I love watching Durant play. His crossover step back 3 might be the best move I have ever seen. I hope the Sixers end up like the Thunder in a few years. It will take some luck with the draft picks and some shrwed front office moves but they are in position to be in the same spot as the Thunder in a few years. I am looking forward to watching the Thunder play and see how they respond to the high expectations placed on them.

- The rest of the rookie class

I really like alot of the rookies this season. In addition to Blake Griffin: John Wall, Al-Farouq Aminu, Gordon Hayward, DeMarcus Cousins (plus our own Tuner) and there are others I think can make an impact this season.

So what are you looking forward to this season?

I’m psyched to see Pat Riley screw over Erik Spolestra so he can get some glory back in his gordon gekko hair.

Over/under game 26 when this happens?

I’m psyched to see Andre Iguodala get a chance to play on a team where he’ll be appreciated by the fan base

So are you assuming he gets traded?

What do you think his stat line will look like this season?

I’m thinking 10 rebounds, 15 assists, and 18,000 points per game. Clearly that’s MVP worthy in my book.

Kevin Durant and his Oklahoma City Thunder and if they can build on the excellent season that they had last year.
