Turner. However…I think the only one I’d react harshly to is Cousins. Based on nothing of any value, I just hate people who seem to exude the personality of dry wall.

What sort of dry wall are we talking about here?

Voted Favors, preferably we trade down to acquire him plus get future picks/players but either way, I’m fine with Turner or Favors.

Hey, that’s my hand on the bottom left. No lie.

Who’s the old dude with the bad shirt and the bad hat who looks like he should be on chico and the man?

He asked the worst questions in the world. I don’t know how he got in, he must be quicker than he looks.

He said ‘my brother is commander adama and he wll bring the full force of the colonial fleet down on your head’ to the security guard

His questions were horrible. He was there last year too. I forget where he was from. Something Colvert?

Johnson nearly went to Ohio State when he transferred.

I’m actually getting cold feet with Turner. I think the Favors camp has swayed me.

by Dpez71 on Jun 23, 2010 6:55 PM PDT reply actions

Same here. The more I read, the more I hear about him possibly being the best defensive player you could want on a team. Either that or something about him having the best potential in the draft. The more I read about Turner, the more I’m hearing that his potential is the lowest of the top five, but his bottom is higher than the rest. I don’t know anymore.

I see more people moving into the Favors camp, but none of our opinions matter. This is the Doug and Ed and Tony show, Doug is the one who’s going to have to coach this bunch and I do think he has a great understanding of the game and what it takes to win.

I have said this over and over, Collins can’t go into next season, hoping that Hawes, Speights or Smith will develop enough to overcome the loss of Dalembert. Maybe he sees Favors as another project as well- which is to say not enough help next season.

But he is familiar with Favors and knows his game and was quoted as saying how he saw his game develop over the course of one season. He also wasn’t much of a fan of Georgia Tech’s offense, which made Favors emergence even more impressive.

My guess is that if Doug thinks Favors can play in the post this season that he’s going to grab him. He knows that most Championship teams have a great big man in the middle. It’s so essential that Doug will have a hard time passing up the chance to select the next Dwight Howard.

what the name of those guys in charge of drafting players? Head coaches, right?

Depends on the team, but I’m pretty sure NONE of them are named head coach

What emergence was that again? The one where he had worse numbers than the mediocre numbers Ed Davis put up?
