Sixers Fire Eddie Jordan
Well it's official, per Kate Fagan
Comcast-Spectacor, which owns the Sixers, will fire Jordan, in his first year with the organization, during a press conference scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, this according to a source close to the situation.
For all those who took the under on Vegas' (or my) over/under of 14 hours after last night's game you are in luck! You win a ten dollar off coupon to your local convenient store! Or not.
Go out and celebrate folks. The after-Eddie Jordan party can officially begin. Now let's hope we win the lottery (hey, a 5% chance is better than nothin amirite?), hire the best coach of all time, and win the NBA Finals next year! Okay so that most definitely will not happen but whatever it's my hot body, I do I what I want.
I can only reiterate what Jordan (Sams, not Eddie) said yesterday, thank you EJ for allowing us an opportunity at a top 6 pick and hopefully a top 3 when the lottery is all said and done. I wish him the best wherever he moves on to, unless he goes to the ACC, then I hope he crashes and burns (figuratively you violent people out there).
Update 10:17 AM: CBS's Ken Berger on Stefanski
Reports are that team president Ed Stefanski will stay on with the franchise.

Don’t like that last line about Stefanski staying.
That means we are led by 2 sh!t-Eds instead of 3. Progress, but not enough.

I didn’t think Stefanski would go anywhere, and snider isn’t going anywhere any time soon – people need to stop thinking that’s even likely – it’ll just be disappointing.
Stefanski will get a lot more rope than any coach
