Iverson's Wife Files for Divorce

It hasn’t been the greatest week in A.I.’s life. The AJC has the latest: “A week after the Philadelphia 76ers’ Allen Iverson announced he was leaving basketball for the rest of the season to be with his sick 4-year-old daughter, the star’s wife filed for divorce in Fulton County Superior Court. In the divorce petition filed on Tuesday, Tawanna Iverson said her 8 ½-year-long marriage to the guard was ‘irretrievably broken.’ In the petition, Tawanna Iverson asked for temporary and permanent custody of their five children as well as child support and alimony. She did not ask for a specific dollar amount. The children range in ages from 17 months to 15 years.”
Couldn't A.I.'s wife waited at least a couple on months to divorce him? A.I.'s daughter is terribly sick and everything, now his wife is going to divorce him? Wow Just Wow. How is this going to make things better?

Hmmm...Will the truth come out?
Makes you wonder what the real story was? Think Iverson was as much of a piece of trash at home as he has been on the court for past 5 years?
His wife has to pretty much hate him to pile this on at this point…
Also, wonder if the daughter with “mysterious, undiagnosed” illness is really that sick…or sick at all? Not saying AI made it up, but he wouldn’t be the first pro athlete to make up a sympathetic distraction to jive with his ego during his decline.
(I’m not a troll and respect what AI did waaaaaay back in the past, but I’m not really about the unexplicable “hero worship” of him)

Troll or not I think it’s pretty clear where you fall on the idiot scale
Yes, they made up a life threatening undiagnosable illness and all the doctors are complicit.
The hero worship of him is explicable easily and you live in a state that still worships Mark McGwire…I don’t worship iverson but I also don’t think he’s a piece of trash
You on the other hand…

Sure, I’m an idiot because I raised valid points you don’t like…. deal with it, kiddo
Cause you’ve heard doctors and hospitals make public comments confirming his daughter’s condition? Are you privy to something the general public is not?
You didn’t say one thing remotely intelligent. But hey, at least you used name calling to validate your points….
And if you knew a fucking thing about baseball or STL, you would see there is actually very little support for McGwire. Besides, at least McGwire knew when to walk away from his game. (Yeah, I know the guy used steroids, but I wasn’t championing him)
The name calling and “you’re from Missouri” bullshit just shows ignorant you are. I cannot believe you are one of the featured bloggers on this blog! If you have any intelligent comments to make back (ha!), I’d be glad to discuss whatever.
A career 42% shooter with no rings, a bad attitude, long legal wrap sheet, and unrealistic view of himself…. yeah, sounds like that hero worship is real “easily explicable” lol

No, you didn’t raise valid points, you raised sensationalistic garbage that a mid western farm boy might think of valid points – but aren’t really.
Also, wonder if the daughter with "mysterious, undiagnosed" illness is really that sick…or sick at all
This isn’t valid, this is bull shit
We like to limit our bull shit around here

I’m gonna try to look through the jungle jive talk and see if my farmboy ass (having spent my entire 28 yrs in the city of St. Louis, which is a metropolitan area of nearly 3 million people) can try to comprehend your defensive rage…..I understand you getting angry; you have no other defense for your seemingly willful ignorance. Good to see that you “limit your bullshit” to the backing of any point you might unsuccessfully try to make.
(BTW, did you notice how you didn’t remotely refute a single point I brought up or issue I raised? Jemagee, if people can’t see your lack of substance yet then…..well, I guess you’d be a featured blogger!)
Ok, now that I’ve responded to your petty bullshit, I have supporting evidence that shows my inital comments were not as off-base as you chose to believe.
Check out this article from ESPN (with video of Stephen A Smith interview):
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4975922
As anyone who has followed the NBA/AI for a while knows, Stephen A Smith has pretty much always been up Iverson’s butt and has long been his main media confidant. You cannot dispute that; if you try, any comment you ever make again is invalidated. In other words, if EVEN Mr. Smith is willing to disclose such “interesting” details, there MUST be something to it. Sorry to piss you off, but I find Stephen A Smith’s information to be more reliable than your fanatical state of denial.
(this is where you attempt to regain some credibility by offering irrelevant, inaccurate personal attacks on me and not acknowleding the scathing details of Mr. Smith’s report)
