Bobcats @ Sixers game thread
Charlotte Bobcats at Philadelphia 76ers, Mar 10, 2010 4:00 PM PST
Another important game in terms of lottery implications. Even though the Bobcats are a playoff team, they are terrible on the road this season (8-23 as opposed to 23-8 at home). But both teams are playing the second of a back-to-back, so in the infamous words of KG, "Anything is possssible!!!"
Three things interest me tonight:
- Jrue Holiday's development
- How the team will react to this
- The possibility of seeing Michael Jordan in torn jeans

Going to work so I’ll miss most of the game. I’ll check back in when I’m home.
Also, I’m on twitter. And I’ll never forgive myself for typing those words. So find me or something, I have no clue how it works. It’s dumb, and I’m only doing it for Scott and Jordan because I love them with all of my snarky black heart.
I also have school tonight, and have to watch on DVR.
So w/o me and MB I don’t know who’s going to carry the game thread. Good luck lol.
i’ll be here!
and if complaining about this team gets boring we can talk LOST

definitely gotta check it out – i don’t care about spoilers it’s all about how they get there is what i like about shows not just what happens
love the quote from the guy talkin to bs in the podcast
If somebody is listening to this podcast right now and they don’t watch LOST at all, they are thinking this is the stupidest show I’ve ever heard of in my life

Did anybody see the article on Brand where he is already planning for the off-season and wants to get better in the Princeton offense since they went away from it this year? http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/sixers/20100310_Sixers__Brand_already_planning_offseason_improvement.html
I guess he will have to make different off-season plans.
Man, this team is a mess. I guess he’s not going to come out and say “Why should I learn the PO? EJ will be gone soon.” But he could’ve just said nothing at all.
Unless all the reports of EJ being fired are false.
hey guys - just wanted to check in
not going to be able to be around for the game tonight and may not be around much for the next week and a half: I mentioned last night that my grandmother was in bad shape; she passed away this evening, so I have to go down to DC. Be well, all, and go bobcats.
damn man sorry to hear that – stay strong my condolences

okay contest for the night:
first person to see someone in the crows wearing one of our fire eddie jordan shirts gets a special prize (quite possibly could be the change to sing a duet with mike bourn at a karaoke bar to be named later)
that quarter was ugly – or good depending on how you want to look at it

jrue with a sweet set-up for carney but he traveled with it…. should have been an assist for jay rue
and the next possession down carney finishes from jrue

i guess his calves aren’t as defined as lamar odom’s (random entourage reference quota fulfilled)

2nd half???
looking forward to seeing jrue and carney play together. hopefully a meeks sighting and a little more time for J. SMIT….ps the officiating so far is wack
im ready to switch to paid programming
this is so bad it is funny
missed the game
only saw the box score. should jrue’s turnover numbers be disconcerting? or do we just kind of let it slide?
disconcerting? Yes. Unexpected? Not really. Not uncommon for a rookie to go through bouts of struggling taking care of the ball.
