The Clippers are on a winning streak – let’s hope they keep it up – when the pistons played the clippers i guess it would have been better if the pistons won but the sixers didn’t lose any ground to either the wizards or pistons yet this week.

Weekend Games that matter
Sixers @ Lakers – Hey look – a game I get to see – not sure I will – but sixers should Lose

Knicks @ WIzards – no matter who wins – it helps the sixers lottery hopes

Detroit @ Denver – Denver looks more legit this year than they have in a while against top tier teams but they sometimes play down to the level of opponent and they played last night – so maybe Detroit gets lucky (here’s hoping)

Memphis @ Knicks – Knicks on second half of a back to back but maybe they can steal one from Memphis who is coming in from Charlotte which should be a physical game and the grizz are a sub 500 road team…so they should get a split on this at best and lets hope they get the win tonight :)

Chicago @ Indiana – Pacers will lose – Pacers stink

Detroit @ GSW – second half of a back to back for Detroit with GSW being rested – Detroit should get pasted which isn’t good for the sixers

Wizards @ Nets – Wizards should win this – but knowing the wizards – nets will get closer to not breaking the 9-73

Clippers @ Kings – Clips should win this one – and the kings should really be thinking about tanking to get a shot at Wall

So depending on which Wizards team shows up this weekend the sixers could ‘gain’ a spot and be up to 8 range on Monday

Funny, I just put the lottery teams in the scheduled game thread. I’m giving the Kings a chance tonight against the Jazz. They play so much better at home. Either the Knicks or Wizards will win tonight, so that’s exciting. The DET @ GS, WASH @ NJ and LAC @ SAC are also exciting.

But the best part is, the Sixers next five games are: @ Lakers, Magic, @ Hawks, Celtics, @ Raptors. Is there any way they go better than 1-4? No way.

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 12:06 PM PST up reply actions

If I had to pick one

I’d like to win the Celtics game.

by Saul on Feb 26, 2010 12:20 PM PST up reply actions

Already seen that this year … in person. I’d take another game-winner over the Lakers or a 20-point comeback against the Magic.

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 12:29 PM PST up reply actions

3-2

losses-lal/magic

wins-atl/bos/tor

book it

by Scotan on Feb 26, 2010 12:29 PM PST up reply actions

Whoa. Maybe if this was last year. If you’re right I’ll send you a free Fire Eddie t-shirt.

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 12:30 PM PST up reply actions

alright,im feeling really optimistic all of the sudden. part of me thinks 4-1. looking foward march is a big month. 4 games a week except for 1

by Scotan on Feb 26, 2010 12:45 PM PST up reply actions

What makes you optimistic? Did you watch the Heat, Suns, Bulls games?

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 12:47 PM PST up reply actions

jodie meeks.............

not lol. yea i did watch those games and they were pretty disgracful. and they may have sealed the two eds fate. so i think they will play the vets and go on a run. proably crazy and unrational lol. but while i have my eye on the lottery standings and those games i may be the only wit a eye on miami/bobcats/bulls/bucks games. were only 6.5 out and i still belive that we will make the playoffs. may look like a idiot now and at the end of the season. but untill then i still have hope in this proably hopeless season and proably hopeless franchise

by Scotan on Feb 26, 2010 12:57 PM PST up reply actions

the vets?

you mean everyone but jrue, thad and speights? speights has already not been playing, and Jrue is the best PG on the squad, and thad has been playing well off the bench. so yea, lets start Willie Green, and bring Kopono off the bench. Play the vets? what vets haven’t been playing? when Jrue plays well the team wins, so you want to sit him in order to win?

by packimop on Feb 26, 2010 1:50 PM PST up reply actions

i mean forget about devalopment

i think they should devolpe the players but i have a feeling they wont be. what i mean as far as playing players is no rodney carney more sammy and elton. no kapono and less williams when willie gets back and if iverson comes back i dont want there to be less jrue but there will be. also side note i hope iverson comes back so we can give him a proper farewell

by Scotan on Feb 26, 2010 2:18 PM PST up reply actions

Have you watched the games this season – if Sam gets over 24 minutes in a game it’s a freaking miracle

by jemagee on Feb 26, 2010 2:20 PM PST up reply actions

yea,i know he dosent. but they are a better team with him in there

by Scotan on Feb 26, 2010 2:44 PM PST up reply actions

i’m going to that knicks/wizards game tonight – hopefully both win (somehow?) – i’m not paying to go i’m not that stupid

by Tanner Steidel on Feb 26, 2010 12:15 PM PST up reply actions

by Scotan on Feb 26, 2010 12:27 PM PST up reply actions

P.S

Why can’t the Sixers sign Shaun Livingston (Wizards) or Morris Almond (40 points last night) to a 10-day contract?

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 12:13 PM PST reply actions

it just hit me lol...

the sixers are worst then the clippers……. the &#@ing clippers.

by Scotan on Feb 26, 2010 12:17 PM PST reply actions

In more ways than one. Who would you rather have: Jrue/Iguodala or Gordon/Griffin?

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 12:32 PM PST up reply actions

thats a tough one

ill go gordon/griifen on how could griifen could be,nut he still hasent played a game in the nba

by Scotan on Feb 26, 2010 12:43 PM PST up reply actions

don’t forget that they are theoretical player in this summers free agency sweepstakes as well

by Tron79 on Feb 26, 2010 12:56 PM PST up reply actions

I think AI9 hits a game winning 3 tonight that puts us on a run towards the playoffs!!!

Being serious now if Lou starts we have no chance since Kobe will feast on him.

by The Legend on Feb 26, 2010 12:37 PM PST reply actions

Jrue will guard Kobe. Lou’s got D-Fish.

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 12:40 PM PST up reply actions

Kobe will feast on Jrue as well
This is a viscious size mis match for the sixers – the best sixer to guard Kobe is Iguodala

by jemagee on Feb 26, 2010 1:36 PM PST up reply actions

Kobe’s going to feast on anyone he plays.

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 2:54 PM PST up reply actions

Just asked around on Blazer’s Edge. No one wants Thaddeus Young.

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 12:42 PM PST reply actions

Well – the blazers are chock full of young swing men with upside – most already better than Thad – why would they want thad?

by jemagee on Feb 26, 2010 1:36 PM PST up reply actions

Webster or Thad is what it comes down to.

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 2:55 PM PST up reply actions

they countered with pryzbilla, webster, rudy for andre and thad. not sure if they were kidding.

they want “iggy”

by Jordan Sams on Feb 26, 2010 3:02 PM PST up reply actions

steal of the draft; that guy from stetson with the glasses/goggles in that picture – contact lenses have ruined the aura that rec specs bring to the game

by Tanner Steidel on Feb 26, 2010 2:51 PM PST reply actions

So the knicks won the clippers lost and the pistons didn’t get lucky in denver
