There are rumors that the Rockets are looking to move Yao Ming's expiring contract. With that in mind, I went to the Trade Machine to look for trades that might have a chance at working for both teams.

Rockets get: Andre Iguodala, Elton Brand               

Sixers get: Kevin Martin, Yao Ming

Maybe this trade is just wishful thinking, but hey, you never know.

Rockets get: Andre Iguodala, Lou Williams

Sixers get: Yao Ming, Chase Budinger, first round pick

This trade might be a little more likely to happen. Dealing Iggy wouldn't be bad at all, and Lou really doesn't have a whole lot of potential beyond what he is right now. Getting a young prospect (Budinger) as well as a pick for the future seems reasonable.

Sixers get: Yao Ming, first round pick

It sure would be great if the Sixers could pull this off, and weirder trades have happened. Brand has shown some worth this season, and it would be outstanding if he could be used to acquire another expiring contract plus a draft pick.

Rockets get: Elton Brand, Jason Kapono

Sixers get: Yao Ming, Chase Budinger

Any trade that gets rid of Brand is a good trade in my opinion, and despite how much we all love hate Jason Kapono, I think we can afford to be rid of him as well. Once again, a young prospect for us in return as well as cap space.
