I noticed this link while scrounging around the internet for possible big men for the sixers to acquire....

This was the trade idea I came up with. At the very worst we acquire a replacement for Lou Williams, by someone who can defend. Mayo can also should the three at 38%, which is just icing on the cake.
Now the gamble is whether or not anything can be done with Mr. Hasheem Thabeet. I haven't seen a second of him playing, but was the second pick in the draft just a couple of years ago. So someone must have saw something in him. This year he's averaging an abysmal 1.2 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 0.6 bpg and 1.5 fouls per game in about 8 minutes of action. He was sent down to the D-league and I'm not sure he learned anything. The guy may be as dumb as a brick, but holy hell he's 7 foot, 3 inches! The question that it boils down to is whether or not Collins can teach this kid anything.
The way I see it, it's a low risk high reward type of trade.
