The rotation

I saw on another website people guessing what the rotation would be like this year so I was wondering what you guys think it should be. Here is mine:

Starters: Lou Williams, Andre Iguodala, Thaddeuss Young, Elton Brand, Sam Dalembert

1st Guard: Jrue Holiday

1st Swing man: Rodney Carney

1st Big man: Marreese Speights

9th man: Jason Smith

10th man: Jason Kapono

11th man: Bill Green

12th man: Royal Ivey

13th man: Primoz Brezec

If Lou struggles in the first half of the season he will become the 1st guard off the bench and Jrue will take his spot in the starting linup.

I agree with everything.

I think I’d switch Carney/Kapono and Smith/Speights though. They could go either way though. Training Camp and Pre-Season is going to play a big part in the rotation.

I'd just switch Speights and Smith.

and tack on the last roster spot (Christmas?) @14.

I read somewhere that we were only going to keep 13. If we do decide to keep Christmas then yes Christmas would be at 14.

If we do accept Christmas as the 14th player..

then he will do a good job of keep the bench warm during those long, cold winter games.

Considering this was done a month ago, it has turned out to be a very good prediction, and I think what most of us hoped would happen.

Speights may end up replacing Sam in the starting lineup, or at least at the end of games. Holiday may end up behind Green at the start of the season, Willie had 8 assists in his last game against the Suns. It isn’t clear yet how much Jason Smith will play, he’ll probably end up backing Elton Brand, and I doubt he can be as effective.

I’d like to see Carney play before he’s the automatic back up for Thad and Andre, but hopeful that he can do the job as Jason Kapono is a good three-point specialist, but not much of a defender.
