Welcome to the team Primoz Brezec. I'm not sure what this signing means to the Sixers besides an extra body in case of an injury.

As of right now Elton, Sam, Speights, Smith, and possibly Thad sit ahead of him on the depth chart. I don't see Oz stealing minutes from any of these guys,

Nonetheless, welcome to the team!

Great picture

He looks like he’s sitting in the shallow end waiting for the water to shoot out of the pipes so he can play in the kiddie pool.

Side note… Haywood saying the WIZ are way better off with Flip is like Sheed saying the Pistons didn’t need Billups. EJ facilitates the game.

I feel the same way. I’m just giving us something to look back on in case EJ isn’t the coach we think he is.

I love this guy

He is absolutely awful but he’s a high character guy and is extremely loyal, every team he has played for he has stated ‘I want to never leave this team’. heres hoping he says that about us! If we can’t have Mark Madsen then theres always Primoz…

I wouldn't be shocked

If he comes in here and earns a starting spot. This is the first competition Dalembert has had for his starting job since he got here. Speights/Smith are 4’s. If Sam doesn’t show EJ he’s dedicated to the system, Primoz could get a shot.

That said, I don’t think Brezec is at all the answer and I’d bet Dalembert is still starting on opening night.

I’d be shocked if he’s the starter since he’s terrible in almost all aspects of basketball

Don't frack with me or you'll get a punch in the kidneys...you've been warned

I don’t see any scenario where Oz starts. I’d have a fit if he did.

Starting Primoz would be a very bad thing

What would that say about our team? Starting Sam is bad enough already.

I think EJ would start Smith, Brand, or Speights before Brezec if he didn’t want to play Sammy

There is no way this team is going to bring in a near 30 year old guy from an Italian, euro-league team and have him start

Brezec = Kareem Rush
in terms of playing time, that is.
His agent claims he`s good off the pick and roll and can hit an open jumper.
If that`s really the case then he won`t be as worthless as Rush in the 2 or 3 minutes of playing time he gets every 15 games.
