Practice is over and I got the worst news of the day… Dre Miller signed with portland…ruined my day…what the @#!¤?

That depends on how you grade…if you do well in the beginning but then totally suck from then on – is that as bad as doiong well at the ened.

Jordan – meh – not good not bad
getting rid of reggie evans – brillant
Draftin holiday a steal

ever since – total complete and abyssmal failure

Everything since the draft has been god awful, that includes the piss poor summer league nonsense, poor approach to free agency – the fact that it seems like the sixers are going to be more worried about the 2011 luxury tax number than the 2010 season – it’s just a bad vibe i’m getting from the franchise – i mean I know the off season isn’t over yet – but a C- would be the best possible grade i can give them…

J.

You see the Lou Williams interview?

by Jordan Sams on Jul 24, 2009 4:05 PM PDT reply actions

Is that the one

Where he said hes ready to be the starter and he feels he has been for a long time? I would beg to differ mr williams

I don’t remember him saying that. I can’t find the link to it.

He sounded a little more mature than normal though.

The one i saw

Was on insidehoops.com this morning. It was a quote i never actually heard one.

C

I’d be tougher on them but I think ES is handcuffed by what he did last year. When you commit 185M to Brand/Lou/Iguodala and the cap comes down you can’t really hit a home run.

I’d have liked them to at least use this years space under the tax (the MLE) for a decent PG or SG, but all in all can’t complain about Kapano or Jrue. And the Miller walking was set up after the trading deadline passed IMO. I was angry then, but more resigned at this stage.

I think a C is the obvious grade.

Jordan, Jrue, Kapono = good.

Summer League, free agency = bad.

There’s still some work to be done. I’m still on
the Williams and/or Siler bandwagon.

Siler?

Looks like a couple teams are on the same page as me.

Coincidentally, none are the Sixers.

lol dookie is such a funny word.

Back to the sixers. I think we just had higher expectations from the team coming into the off season. I had a feeling it was going to be a roller coaster off season, ups and downs. The important thing is to end on an up heading into the pre and regular season.

Point Foward

Didnt we try that a few years ago with Iggy? It didnt blow up in our faces THAT much did it? We could start Lou and make Iggy the Grant Hill of the Sixers. Just an idea since we have 3 gaurds on our roster, and none of them deserve to be starters.

It’s exactly what we should do, and I think we will.

Stefanski's been hinting at it

I’ve been plugging it… without signing a vet point it’s becoming more and more probable.

Our off season sucked.

Not excited for the season one bit. Well for the 76ers at least.
