I'm trying to determine whether this is good news or bad news.

After looking at this, I’m going to say bad.

Yeah – the history is hit or miss – and everyone BUT hollinger seems to put lawson no higher than 15th…

"Someone created the box score," Morey says, "and he should be shot."

Blocked shots — they look great, but unless you secure the ball afterward, you haven’t helped your team all that much.

With writers like Hollinger, who needs scouts! Now, honestly, this is probably the worst article that could have been written BEFORE the draft day for the sixers. Let’s hope no one believes him! Not good.

if the info in this article

is actually new to any scout for any nba team and they change their minds on what they want based on it, then i seriously question how they have a job…. teams know what they want by now and are not going to rely on an article on espn a week before the draft to make a pick

Good point BUT from what I hear about some of the GMs in this league, I would not put it pass them!

And is what you hear different than what the rest of us hear?

Hollingers columns aren’t for GMs or scouts, they’re for fans who think they’re more involved than they actually are – you know – us

David Berri has a better column today comparing point guards in the draft – i was wondering if jsams was going to do a link passage today

"Someone created the box score," Morey says, "and he should be shot."

There’s a bunch of stuff today i’m just giving you grief :)

For example: I heard somewhere the the GM at the clippers can ruin any team and it is not fair they got a high draft pick.

You mean the GM who got fired during the season? “You Heard” is not the same as “I read in the paper or on the internet where everyone else can see it as well”

Plus – it indicates a lack of insight into the real cause of the clippers problems to blame the GM – the GM who got fired recently mostly cause it turns out as well as being a moron the owner is a racist putz

Another – more reliable (to me) analyst
