"Sixers center Jason Smith, who suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in July, has started jogging. The next step in Smith's rehabilitation, if there is no swelling or pain, will be planting and cutting, the Sixers said." -- The Philadelphia Inquirer
Good to hear. People tend to forget about Jason Smith. I don't think you should sleep on this guy. He could be a very solid role player when he's completely healthy.

Yeah, he could be a solid contributor. If I recall, he was putting up some good numbers in the Summer League before he went out with that injury. Also worth noting, he’s a center who isn’t Sam Dalembert, so that’s certainly a point in his favor.
I was at every Summer League game.
He looked impressive. His jumpshot was much improved, and we all know how much we need that.
I don’t tend to forget about him – i hope he gets used in a trade to get rid of sammy suxxorz
"Someone created the box score," Morey says, "and he should be shot."
Blocked shots — they look great, but unless you secure the ball afterward, you haven’t helped your team all that much.

thx for the update
what’s up jsams, long time no talk, too much damn work, now it’s gonna be ok
good update, I also used to like Jason Smith and I think he could be a solid man in the rotation, he can play PF and C pretty effectively, even if defense and rebouding need to improve.
but he is athletic, has a nice touch, can finish, block shots and gives us some extra-opportunities offensively, we need him back

Defense and rebounding need to improve?
Then he fits right in with this team – can always use more big men useless on the defensive end
