We're hours away.

I’m going to write my speech to pass time. I’m really anxious.

by Jordan Sams on Apr 19, 2009 10:57 AM PDT reply actions

I hope the Flyers win

or I won’t be as happy as I should be come game time.

by chillicothe20 on Apr 19, 2009 12:43 PM PDT reply actions

Tied 2-2 now

2nd period…hopefully the Sixers won’t play like a roller-coaster…the Flyers are killing me.

by chillicothe20 on Apr 19, 2009 1:24 PM PDT up reply actions

3-2 Flyers...

my heart is stopping. I will be worn out by the time the Sixers start.

by chillicothe20 on Apr 19, 2009 1:27 PM PDT up reply actions

Not me.

I’m as fresh as a fan can be. I haven’t had any sports stress in the past three days.

by Jordan Sams on Apr 19, 2009 1:34 PM PDT up reply actions

Flyers up 4-2

I can breathe…for now.

Less than an hour to Sixers!

by chillicothe20 on Apr 19, 2009 1:36 PM PDT up reply actions

of course you're fresh

you are like 2-3 hours behind me. You probably just got up.

by chillicothe20 on Apr 19, 2009 1:44 PM PDT up reply actions

The show right before the game.

Ends with a sex scene. That’s good karma right there.

by Jordan Sams on Apr 19, 2009 2:29 PM PDT reply actions

I thought you were

writing it before?

What’s it about?

by chillicothe20 on Apr 19, 2009 2:30 PM PDT up reply actions

Why you should donate to a charity.

And I planned on it, but I had to research my charity since I never heard.

by Jordan Sams on Apr 19, 2009 2:33 PM PDT up reply actions

I'm a charity

donate to me. Like many college students, I am in great need. Mostly because I spend my little $$ on wendys.

I said most of the season that Orlando was the best in the East (or just slightly behind Cleveland), but I think we will give Orlando far more trouble than Detroit will Cleveland. It’s matchups.

by chillicothe20 on Apr 19, 2009 2:39 PM PDT up reply actions

Its still weird to me watching with you guys with different broadcasts...

I get Zumoff, Salmi, and Leslie Gudel doing sideline stuff every game inclusing this one

by jmorcate on Apr 19, 2009 2:44 PM PDT reply actions

I wanted to say something about the "magic number

We were winning the game I was at when they shot 37 3s i beleive while they were shooting poorly from 3 and Howard was in foul trouble.

Then Lee hit a few and they took the lead and held it. We were 0-3, but two of those game really came down to the wire

by jmorcate on Apr 19, 2009 2:46 PM PDT reply actions

Gotta get out and run.

by Michael Levin on Apr 19, 2009 2:47 PM PDT reply actions

keep it up Sam, when Howard goes after the block, Sammy’s gotta get the board and put it back.

by Michael Levin on Apr 19, 2009 2:48 PM PDT reply actions

Flyers win 6-3

cut series deficit to 2-1.

Now I focus fully on Sixers.

by chillicothe20 on Apr 19, 2009 2:48 PM PDT reply actions

One sucks less than the other (warning, my a key is acting funny – it’s not always responding and I don’t always notice)

"Someone created the box score," Morey says, "and he should be shot."

Yeah – like I said – nonsense – these aren’t wussy college / street players, these are NBA players who think they can beat anyone and at home they’re going to get the foul as often as the block

"Someone created the box score," Morey says, "and he should be shot."

Blocked shots — they look great, but unless you secure the ball afterward, you haven’t helped your team all that much.

by jemagee on Apr 19, 2009 3:14 PM PDT up reply actions

true, but you can’t disregard the fact that a player would be more hesitant to drive on Theo than on Miller. It alters the shot if its in their head. Just because they’re in the NBA doesn’t mean they can’t get rattled.

by Michael Levin on Apr 19, 2009 3:16 PM PDT up reply actions

I think the ‘rattled’ effect is greatly over valued by fans in the NBA thus part of the reason blocks are over valued. Again, easily rattled guys don’t last long in the NBA

Against a team like the sixers that thrives in the transition and sucks at the half court offense – I consider that a ‘positive’ block since it forces them into a less productive situation.

And its not a good sign that they went 1-7 from 3 and were losing…not to mention Rashard and Turk havent shown up. but the game plan against the Magic previously was to stop those guys and make Lee and whoever else step up. Unfortunately, the non household names always do

by The Legend on Apr 19, 2009 4:53 PM PDT reply actions

Boy I tell ya.

Orlando has gotten 100% of the out of bounds calls.

by Jordan Sams on Apr 19, 2009 5:00 PM PDT reply actions

Even if we lose I don’t think we can be that upset since A) Orlando has gotten all the calls and B) we have made a great effort to come back from 14 down in the fourth against one of the best teams in the NBA

by The Legend on Apr 19, 2009 5:01 PM PDT reply actions

And Miller and Iguodala are getting ZERO calls.

They’re the most aggressive players on the court, and you’re telling me they’ve only combined for 2 free throws? Garbage.

by Jordan Sams on Apr 19, 2009 5:02 PM PDT reply actions

But Orlando has also been defending cleanly and well.

The refs don’t owe the Andres anything for being aggressive. They call the fouls they see. I reject any assertion that the refs have a conscious agenda.

by Saul on Apr 19, 2009 5:03 PM PDT up reply actions

I haven’t been around here in a while (well, comment wise) but the way they’ve played in the fourth warrants comment.
