Thadeuss Young to return against Celtics!
Based on workout today, Young is expected to return to the line-up vs. Boston after missing last eight games with a right ankle sprain.
Philadelphia 76ers forward Thaddeus Young went through his most extensive work-out to date this afternoon and is expected to play tomorrow against the Boston Celtics.
Young, who sprained his right ankle against Atlanta on March 31 vs. Atlanta, played three-on-three this afternoon with Assistant Coaches Bernard Smith and Aaron McKie, as well as Royal Ivey, Marreese Speights and Samuel Dalembert.
The session lasted for approximately 30 minutes, and included a Young crossover on McKie that he finished with an emphatic two-handed dunk.
He followed the three-on-three game up by demonstrating he could cut both left and right, and then concluded his on-court activity with three sprints the length of the court. Later, he received treatment from Head Athletic Trainer Kevin Johnson.
I don't even know what to say right now I am so excited by this news even though he might not play that much!!!!!
