Let's go Mavericks!

6.  Philadelphia 22.5

Mavericks -- Mavs Moneyball

Heat -- Peninsula is Mightier

Heat @ Mavs

If you're watching the game and rooting for the Mavs -- of course -- I encourage you to check out either the Mavs or the Heat's game thread. It's always fun to get live reactions from other team's fans. Last night I was lurking on the Kings blog during Rasual Butler's game-winner, and it was wildly entertaining. I'm convinced karma was the reason the Kings lost. I went on their blog to ask a question about my fantasy stud, Andres Nocioni. For whatever reason they didn't answer. Then, their team lost in devastating fashion. Moral of the story -- if you go on the Heat or Mavs blog tonight, be nice.

Spurs fan from Chicago here.

We tend to have what we call “Loser Threads” for nights when our Spurs are off, and there are other games going on throughout the league. Of course, we’re always up for some other points of view from around the league, as well, over at www.poundingtherock.com . Feel free and join ours anytime you feel like it, too. Best of luck! :)

Couple relevant games to the sixers tonight, including pistons and celtics.

In reference to the post above – what will spurs fans do when Duncan finally retires and they realize they won’t even come close to contending any more?

Hell – I don’t believe they’re serious contenders any more now – too old – too fragile – if bynum is back at at least 60% the lakers will steam roll the west

"Someone created the box score," Morey says, "and he should be shot."

Blocked shots — they look great, but unless you secure the ball afterward, you haven’t helped your team all that much.

I think they need to start building for the future now. Once Duncan retire, Pop will leave too, I believe. In a 7 game series, though, I think they can take any team in the West besides LA. With a healthy Spurs team (unlike the one that fell to the Lakers last year without Bynum), anything is possible.

Close game – heat up 4 with 5:30 to play

2 straight trips with 3’s after Miami misses really…dirk just fired a terrible desperation 3 – but up 3 with about a minute

Dirk did it to beat the clock – Andre does it with 10 on the clock :)

He’ll never be called for it – but Wade is a giant ball hog

You think so?

I haven’t watched him enough to make that assumption. I’ll tell you who is though. Kobe Bryant. He’s the worst.

Actually Iversons the worst – kobe’s numbers have been steadily going down and it’s made the lakers better

BTW _ Beasley choked 2 FT’s earlier or the heat would be winning

Question.

Are the Bobcats considered ‘good’ now?

by Jordan Sams on Apr 1, 2009 7:55 PM PDT reply actions

Probably not – LB probably gets all the credit

I think the heat will win cause #6 done travelled

Wow

The ball was in the hands of Chalmers instead of Wade?

Fast break – rebound opportunity they didn’t use either of their time outs – and spolestra obviously didn’t have a play in place – bad coaching from the wunderkind :)

Been here before – gotta win – without Thaddeus Young – to make it matter

here we go

heres to mareese stepping up in place of Thad … I can just see it

I’m starting to hate Wade more and more, alot of ppl on the Dallas board commenting on his constant complaining to the refs…

Loved Wade his rookie year.

Hate him now. He’s nowhere near Kobe’s level, in terms of how much I hate him, but he’s up there.
