Unfairly banned
I was recently banned from participating on BlogaBull, I don't know why I got booted, I think I got booted because I disagreed with others on the value of Ben Gordon, I was not beligerant with people. I respected others' opinions. I do not think I should be banned because I don't have the same love for Ben Gordon as others in that forum. All we are doing is voicing our opinions, and for a person to be silenced for his or her opinion is unfair. I want to know how would you all handle this situation, and what are your feelings about this?

I’ve been banned A LOT of places – almost every discussion forum involving philadlephia sports I’ve been banned from.
Move on – let it go – don’t worry about it – it’s the internet – banning people is nonsensical unless they are threatening violence against people (I never have, but no one seems to get it)
It’s not the only bulls blog out there – if yo uwanna talk ben gordon – find another one
Just stay away form ESPN discussion forums – those are awful

Blocked shots — they look great, but unless you secure the ball afterward, you haven’t helped your team all that much.

Thanks
I know, I’ve been flagged a few times on ESPN
I’ve been banned some places that you can get away with the most awful insulting crap as long as you agree with the neanderthal juvenile arguments, gay bashing and idiotic threats that go on there…try and be intelligent – and they’ll ban you forever – and make long threads about how awful you are

I went into self-imposed exile from BleedingGreenNation for this exact reason. I couldn’t take the racist, homophobic, and sexist bigotry of some of the regulars and for some reason, despite my requests, JasonB refused to do anything about it.

If I ever start a message board – believe it or not – i’m going to have some real strict rules regarding things like that – you can insult peoples intelligences all you want – but no derogatory slurs – one strike and you’re out

That would be my rule as well. There’s no place for that hatred anywhere, in my opinion.

And even in insults – it’s pretty weak – if you’re going to insult someone – be creative – it offends my sensibilities that there are so many morons who have internet access :)

You’ve posted this on seemingly every SBN basketball blog. I don’t know if that’s the way to go about this.

Because the Broad Street Subway is orange for a reason.
Yeah man.
I don’t know all of the Bulls Blog rules. You probably should’ve contacted their blog manager directly, instead of making it public.
