Welcome Yahoo! users
Here's the official link.
As members of our communities or readers of our sites, you already know that SB Nation takes a different approach to online sports. Our focus has always been on empowering fans to participate in conversations that are specific to their particular teams, leagues or sports. We’ve watched over the years as the popularity of this unique approach has rapidly accelerated.
Today we want to welcome some new members to our flourishing communities. SB Nation and our friends at Yahoo are partnering to give Yahoo Sports audiences one click access to our sites and content. In addition to being the largest sport property on the web, Yahoo Sports is known for some of the best general sports blogs including: Ball Don’t Lie, Puck Daddy, Dr. Saturday, Big League Stew and others.
Relevant pages of Yahoo Sports will now feature contextual links to specific SB Nation communities. Many other pages of Yahoo Sports will feature SB Nation content and links. The great news is that more sports fans will be introduced to SB Nation sites. There are now close to 200 different sports communities for Yahoo users to discover. Each is led by bloggers who are first and foremost passionate fans. Part of what makes our network so special is that each SB Nation site has its own URL, name and colors as well as its own community guidelines and expectations. Some are more serious, some more irreverent, but they all share a common goal of nurturing strong and focused conversations around a common interest.
If you are new to one of our communities, we welcome you. On our websites, you’ll find unique perspectives, insightful analysis and passion for sports topics that are unrivaled. We encourage you to read through posts and get acclimated to the tone, norms and quirks of the site you are visiting.
When you are ready, feel free to join the conversation or start one up. Whether you create a new profile or use your Yahoo or OpenID credentials to register, one username and password will give you access to all our communities. Each SB Nation site offers the same mechanisms for participating in the action via comments, FanPosts (a blog entry of your very own) or FanShots (a quick micro-post of a thought, link or photo.) Before you post though, please remember, you are entering an established and ongoing community. Your voice and opinions are encouraged (that’s what being a fan is all about after all), but as in any productive conversation, they should be presented in a manner that is courteous, civil and respectful of the culture that you are entering.
If you are an old-timer here, we encourage you to welcome and assist the newcomers. It can sometimes be challenging to join a new environment, so a helping hand is usually appreciated. Cut the rookies some slack and spread the word about what they have been missing all of this time. This is your chance to welcome new folks in a manner that is consistent with the type of place in which you want to participate. You have the power to shape the type of community you want.
As always if anyone has any questions or ideas, please do not hesitate to contact us here.Fans First!
Ok, I'd like to add a couple things to this.
First of all, I want to welcome all new users. This is fantastic news! So... welcome!
Secondly, I'd like to talk to all my Liberty Ballers "old-timers" for a second. Please, please, please welcome all the new guys/girls with open arms. It'd be awesome if you set a good example for them. I've updated all the rules and community guidelines, so follow them, and try to make sure everyone else is, as well.
The amount of new users and traffic will not change the way we do things around here. We'll still have a lot of fun. We'll still keep the conversations clean. And we'll still have the most insightful, intelligent Sixers conversation on the web.
This is a big step for SBNation and Liberty Ballers.

It's probably going to take some time for people to find us, but...
A good start would to do a little roll call in the comments. If you want, post your name and anything you think people should know about you.
I'm Jordan, or jsams, or whatever you want to call me.
I love the Sixers, Cowboys and Astros (Yeah, I know. I’m a Cowboys fan. I’m willing to put it behind us if you are).
I live in Vegas — born and raised.
I go to UNLV.
I'm Tanner
Obviously I love the Sixers and the Maryland TERPS – i casually watch football and i go for the Bills and Packers (I have a man crush on Aaron Rodgers… thank you fantasy football) – I’m from Allentown, PA and currently go to school at the University of Maryland… I hate Duke
I’m Mike from Northeast Philly. It’s all Phillies, Eagles, Sixers for me, sorry hockey fans, i’d rather comb my pubes. I go to Ithaca College with Mets, Giants, and Knicks fans and represent the ‘iladelph by physically punishing them for supporting the wrong teams. I’ll also chop my nuts off if we lose on a buzzer beater again.
money
every time i read your name i think i’m on an astros blog
i forget mike bourn was a phillie before he graced the astros with his .140 BA
That’s ALL he can do – but ed wade is fortunately still a moron

Blocked shots — they look great, but unless you secure the ball afterward, you haven’t helped your team all that much.

Utley
Hamels
Burrell

All part of the ed wade era

I think he’s a mediocre catcher who was hot for a week
I don’t hate Ruiz
I hate people who hate Abreu
See the difference

I too, hate people who hate Abreu. We agree there.
I also hate racists—who represent a large portion of the Abreu-haters.

I don’t think they’re racists – i think they’re morons.
I admit to being prejudice against morons/idiots

bourn is dirty and he’ll turn into kenny lofton some day. hoping he finds his way back to philly at some point in his career. i also thank him for a world fucking series last year, because of his involvement in the bradford lidge deal.

You should thank Ed Wade for that – he of the stupid trade moves – funny how he refused to move wagner when he knew he wasn’t going to sign him but gave brad lidge away.
I’m not sure what bourn is dirty means – but if you think the pinnacle of baseball is kenny lofton (OVER-RATED) i’m not sure what to tell you – but michael bourn will never ever be as good at baseball as kenny lofton.
Maybe Cedric Lofton

Hello, I am Charles (known alternately as FuquaManuel, Fuqua, Fook, FM, or Cholly). I come from a small plot of cyberspace in the Northwest section of the city of Philadelphia. I currently reside in West Philadelphia where I attend a University. I have spent about 7,000 of the approximately 7,825 days I have been alive in the city of Philadelphia—and I have not gotten tired of it.
My favorite teams are (were) the Phillies, Eagles, Sixers, and the Philadelphia Stars (the short-lived negro leagues franchise). I also have a soft spot for competitive cooking and can be found watching Iron Chef on occasion—I invariably root for the challenger.
Charles Fuqua Manuel is the manager of the Phillies. I prefer not to distribute my real name over the internet…I kind of like the anonymity.
My profile picture is a picture of Phillies’ slugger Ryan Howard at age 3.
Nice!
That completely changes my opinion of you. I thought you were some foreign dude with a picture of a random black kid up there. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with either foreign people or black people; that’s just what I thought you were.
Now it’s all coming together. Everything connects to the Phillies. I like that.
hahahaha….“some foreign dude”…completely changes your opinion of me? What country did you think I was from?
You are from Vegas though, so I just might be foreign to you.

Im Justin
I go to Temple to become an athletic trainer after transferring from Drexel and Im a fan of all the Philly teams including the Flyers after a recent new interest in hockey. I also root for Villanova, Temple, and sometimes St. Joes or Drexel bball, Florida as long as Nick Calathes is there, and Miami, Penn State football, and the Miami Dolphins (but not quite as much as the Eagles).
I play a lot of poker too, both online and in AC.
People 'round SBNation are talking about a 2K9 tournament.
Anyone here play? I don’t mean to brag, but I’m pretty much the greatest.
i dabble
not sure if i’m good or not cuz i only play my association

I don’t play the video games often enough to own either or get great at them – i’m basically a single player guy.
So I’m john – i’m pretty obnoxious and opinionated and hate Sam Dalembert and Willie Green
If you wanna see how good you pick NBA winners on a daily basis help me alpha test
