"I guarantee you [Blazers GM] Kevin Pritchard has gotten better offers for LaFrentz than the Suns have gotten for [Amare] Stoudemire."

TrueHoop

So Stefanski must be getting tons of offers for Miller right?

if it is true

that teams care more about cutting costs than i would imagine that many teams would be inquiring about his expiring contract…. but i still have a hard time believing lafrentz is getting better offers than stoudamire

The sixers are owned by comcast, a corporate entity and publicly traded company – if folks think that the sixers aren’t one of those teams worried about containing costs – I think they’re wrong…

Rumors persist from ‘unnamed sources’ that Stoudemire is off the market.

I believe that Lafrentz will get better offers relative to his WORTH than the suns will for stoudemire since the suns sort of backed themselves into a corner (they seem to have gotten out of) saying they were going to trade Amare. Hence people would try to low ball them. The blazers don’t HAVE to trade lafrentz as they could use the 12 million dollar savings as well.

At least that’s how i see it

"Someone created the box score," Morey says, "and he should be shot."

Blocked shots — they look great, but unless you secure the ball afterward, you haven’t helped your team all that much.
