Sixers lose ninth straight
All I can do is smile. This team continues to amaze me. At least "The Answer" arrives Monday night, right?
P.S. No more Andre Iguodala to end games, k?

I got no problem with Iguodala at the end of games, he has hit a good number of go-ahead shots. My problem is letting Green play a guy who blowtorched him all night long. Braces is a genius
I’m talking specifically about the last play. That was classic LB with No-TO strategy. He needed to sub Ivey in after Dre hit the FT.
The Felton layup? Dalembert’s fault. Green got caught up in a screen.
Not defending EJ by any means.
Which is my point. Green always struggles against screens. LB likes to use screen-rolls in those situations, did it for years with us & Det when he has a fast penetrating guard. How come I remember that and EJ doesn’t. Green struggles getting over screens, including when Diaw hit the three to put them down because Green didn’t rotate correctly. That is why I would’ve subbed Ivey.
Ivey hadnt played all game. You dont put a guy in for the last 10 seconds to play lockdown d when hes been on the
bench all game.

Sure you do. Coaches do that quite often for offensive/defensive sub. It is not like putting in a shooter who hasn’t played. Granted, you should give him some warning coming down the stretch once the game gets tight, let him limber up on the sideline. Truthfully, every single time they went offense/defense, he should’ve been coming in with Carney anyway for Green.
Which brings me to the other problem: EJ ran an offensive-oriented small lineup down the stretch of a game leading by 10.
i understand the philosophy of doing offense/defense with green and ivey within the last 3-4 minutes but not the last possession (and recommend it) – can’t expect any production on d from a guy who’s been on the bench for 2 hrs (real time)

Well, its either that, or letting Ray Felton get a head of steam against a guy who failed against him all night and struggles in screen-roll situations, which will predictably lead to what occurred.
Plus, Ivey likely would handle it fine. If it were Jrue, I’d likely agreed with you, but Ivey should’ve been warming up down the stretch and been warm and ready to go. He’s made his career in being ready for virtually that exact scenario.
not sure I agree
If Sam had went to defend Felton, he would have handed the ball to the other guy (can’t think of his name) for a dunk. I think he tried to cover both. It stands on Willie Green for doing NOTHING to slow the guy up, even!
it shouldnt have came down to that.. there was a stretch in the middle of the fourth where andre needed to sit for like 2min and an a definsive squad should have been on the floor. we should have went with cause in the forth all they did was drive with no shot blocker in. jordan should have made subs but left the same dying team on the floor. they had no life down the streatch. and i know he saw what was happening and made no changes.
