Elton Brand and Andre Iguodala to Mavs for Josh Howard, Erick Dampier, Rodrigue Beaubois and a first-round pick.

See above. You’re driving me nuts with this kind of crap. I like Brand. I like Iguodala. There’s no way I’d give them up for that even if I like Josh Howard as a player.

How can you be a basketball fan and be thinking of trades when you don’t know what you have seems silly to me. Until you can evaluate the talent on this team, you don’t know what additions need to be made and who can be sacrificed. This team wins when Brand and Iguodala have good games you can’t give them up without getting Nowitsky back.

I read the Fagan thing a couple times, and I have a problem

Now if you read this – Fagan has a ‘source’ that says the rockets WANT Iguodala to trade the sixers McGrady

What that source close to the situation doesn’t say is that the sixers dismissed the idea out of hand (which they should do)

And that’s troubling to me

How about this one proposed by someone that actually works under the cap

You know what trade would work, financially?

Dalembert, Iguodala, Brand to Cleveland for Shaq and Ilgauskus.

Sixers would then have $25M on the books for next season

what i have read is that they want either speights, thad, jrue, or lou along with iggy..now i can not unerstand why the sixers would even remotely be interested in this..unless for some reason we could get rid of sammy d or brand(which according to multiple sources, the rockets will NOT take either of them) and even then its a stretch.

why would we want t mac if it costs us some of our most promising young pieces? is t mac gonna come in and lead us to the finals? abcolutely not.

if this trade happens it will be difficult for me to cheer for the team.
