Sixers v. Wizards

Philadelphia 76ers at Washington Wizards, Dec 22, 2009 4:00 PM PST

The Sixers have the 2nd worst record in the East.  The Wizards have the 3rd worst.  Can you say unstoppable force vs. immovable object?  Because I certainly can't.

Iverson is still out.  Eddie Jordan is still the head coach.  Antawn Jamison will continue to wreck us.  Let's hope for a bounceback game from Jrue.  Ready? Break!

Eddie Jordan half way to his dream back court

The moron will start Dalembert and Young, and that could get us into trouble, although Washington doesn’t have much of an inside game. As long as they can keep Agnet Zero from going off, they should be able to win this game easy.

Even Jordan knows to play his bruise brothers down the stretch.

Wow – that’s a terrible horrible nickname considering one of those guys is softy on defense than the charmin (DONT SQUEEZE THE CHARMIN)

by jemagee on Dec 22, 2009 3:08 PM PST up reply actions

Yep

Eddie’s desire to stick with this retarded starting lineup with Dalembert the only big has gotten them behind by 10 points in the 1st quarter.

Lou not starting tonight – eddie jordan weeps into his pre game Quaalude (cause seriously, how else could he make these decisions if he isn’t high as a kit like ricko watching these games?)

I thought you would be thrilled to see Jrue starting.

I am thrilled to see Jrue starting

Lou was replacing Willie, not Jrue, and probably only until Iverson is healthy.

Never let the facts get in the way

Willie has been playing very well, you know. Besides, this way Lou gets to play with real post-up players.

The way Iverson is talking, it sounds like he is willing to work with them. They need to find out how much he can play for them without having to get his knee drained. He’s not going to be the problem some people think he is.

I’m also not sure about Lou’s conditioning or shooting right now. Running with the 2nd unit will give Jordan the chance to see how he’s doing.

Since the game ends with Brand and Speights, there’s no reason Williams won’t be in there, unless he’s not going well.

I wanted Iguodala at guard too, since I want his defense on the Wizards guards.

Why is this jackass coaching? Why would you run Iguodala, Young and Green for 12 straight minutes? How can anyone be this stupid?

Nice airball

Thad!

You gotta love running a play for Thad – 3 when you subbed Kapono into the game for that reason!

Also, anybody realise the team didn’t score again once Jrue left?

We are terrible.

On the bright side, I can finally watch how terrible we are on TV when I get home, as opposed to streaming or box scores.

I’m soo glad Eddie Jordan is our coach so we have a better shot at getting J-Wall.

so joel przybilla got hurt bad tonight – could portland be desperate enough to take on sammy and his contract? the only active big men they have are aldridge and juwan howard

I thought that when Aldridge went down…two words for you though

If Roy’s shoulder is bad it won’t really matter anyway…i think the blazers would be smart not to make a move like getting sam cause they aren’t going anywhere really this year anyway.

Their roster is still ‘misft’ and pritchard needs to fix it but Sam ain’t the way to go

By the way, who else is looking forward to the ‘positive spin it’s not jordan’s fault’ rickot post?

I know I am

by jemagee on Dec 23, 2009 7:37 AM PST reply actions

This game was all Jordan’s fault. I didn’t think it was possible for a man to get as far as being a head coach in the NBA making the decisions he does. It is abundantly clear that he is ruining the team and costing it wins. Elton Brand can see it plain as day, saying that they’re always having to come back from being down over 12 points every game when he and Speights come in. It doesn’t take much reading between the lines to realize that Brand thinks Eddie Jordan is a f’ing idiot. This team seemingly has too much talent to have to put a bad line-up out on the floor, but Jordan manages to find a way. He plays some players too long and they loose their effectiveness, and he doesn’t play others at the right times to conserve the energy of the ones he needs. They never maintain their efficiency on offense and their defense takes too many vacations.

Save the Sixers, Fire Eddie!
