by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 4:31 PM PST reply actions

got family in town. i’ll be watching the rest on DVR. go sixers.

p.s. jrue is in.

by Jordan Sams on Nov 9, 2009 4:34 PM PST reply actions

apparently steve nash won’t ruin his pysche

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 4:34 PM PST up reply actions

Yeah – that makes sense – the knicks PG’s scarring – steve nash – still one of the best in the league (and getting super star calls) that won’t hurt him

by jemagee on Nov 9, 2009 4:47 PM PST up reply actions

in other news – bill is a moron

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 4:37 PM PST reply actions

Also today I heard the sky is blue, oranges are orange, and sarah palin is an idiot

by jemagee on Nov 9, 2009 4:47 PM PST up reply actions

I have to say, these new uni’s are damn sexy

AKA: Linix129

by sw12 on Nov 9, 2009 4:44 PM PST reply actions

You know what’s pathetic

That’s like the only positive thing to say about this team

by jemagee on Nov 9, 2009 4:47 PM PST up reply actions

Nice play by Jrue

AKA: Linix129

by sw12 on Nov 9, 2009 4:44 PM PST reply actions

Nice D by Philly

AKA: Linix129

by sw12 on Nov 9, 2009 4:46 PM PST reply actions

By the way – speights has some very good court vision -

by jemagee on Nov 9, 2009 4:50 PM PST reply actions

um...are we playing good defense?

it’s been so long since i’ve seen it, i kind of forgot what it looks like

by SexualTyrannosaurus on Nov 9, 2009 4:52 PM PST reply actions

seeing jrue d up like this

how can ej even think about playin ivey or bill in front of him?

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 4:59 PM PST reply actions

I stand by my assertion the jordan hates rookies and could be a moron

by jemagee on Nov 9, 2009 5:00 PM PST up reply actions

no idea

I’m starting to agree with John…Jordan is an idiot…hopefully he’s still tinkering and we see better rotations over the next few weeks

by SexualTyrannosaurus on Nov 9, 2009 5:02 PM PST up reply actions

Scary ain’t it?

by jemagee on Nov 9, 2009 5:06 PM PST up reply actions

very

but he’s just testing the waters with everyone, right? I mean, we’ve only played six games…there’s got to be changes on the way…right?

by SexualTyrannosaurus on Nov 9, 2009 5:08 PM PST up reply actions

there’s no reasonable explanation for not playing jrue as much as he hasn’t played

by jemagee on Nov 9, 2009 5:10 PM PST up reply actions

and the dribble around and shoot play at the end of the half

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 5:09 PM PST up reply actions

suns 8-16 from three and i’m surprised that’s all… every look they get is uncontested

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 5:09 PM PST reply actions

That's not entirely true

Just 80% of them. They have been doing better than I expected on the pick and roll, they just are getting lost on some backdoors and some rotations still.

by Slizeezyc on Nov 9, 2009 5:15 PM PST up reply actions

sick play to start the 2nd half, nash-J rich

by sixer83 on Nov 9, 2009 5:26 PM PST reply actions

wow

they just let Nash walk in for the layup

by SexualTyrannosaurus on Nov 9, 2009 5:30 PM PST reply actions

there is the typical sixers D were used to

by sixer83 on Nov 9, 2009 5:32 PM PST up reply actions

Well, that’s a pretty quick way to let a 12 point lead turn into 4. 10-18 on 3 pointers…I know the Suns will shoot their 3’s, but damn.

I might be alone, but it is really difficult for me to tell exactly what has changed about this team since last season.

by FuquaManuel on Nov 9, 2009 5:33 PM PST reply actions

Amare Stoudamire's league-worst defense

is one of the most underrated superstar storylines of the past decade.

by phillyhoosfan on Nov 9, 2009 5:58 PM PST reply actions

in unrelated news

theophilus started for the spurs tonight cuz duncan is out

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 6:01 PM PST reply actions

hey ej

SPEIGHTS IS BETTER THAN SAMMY!!!!!!! act accordingly

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 6:02 PM PST reply actions

if you start M16

where do you get your offense when the second unit comes in?

by SexualTyrannosaurus on Nov 9, 2009 6:04 PM PST up reply actions

The thing about good rotations is that you don’t have a “second unit.” The coach weaves in better players with average bench guys so it’s never a bunch of scrubs out there. Jordan has not done this, exposing us as a shallow team in crucial parts of the game.

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:07 PM PST up reply actions

i agree

but if Jordan is going to dump his bench on the floor at once, I’d rather Speights stay in his role….if at the end of the night, M16 has more minutes than Sammy, i’ll be happy…I don’t really care if he starts

by SexualTyrannosaurus on Nov 9, 2009 6:09 PM PST up reply actions

Jrue Holiday and Jason Smith

by jemagee on Nov 10, 2009 6:45 AM PST up reply actions

Making something out of nothing, alright Mo.

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:04 PM PST reply actions

“woah hoah hoah… i don’t play defense” — bill murray, space jam

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 6:08 PM PST up reply actions

larry’s not white, he’s clear.

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:09 PM PST up reply actions

he’s fixing a divot!

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:13 PM PST up reply actions

need a publisher? i can make ya big.

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:18 PM PST up reply actions

This guy next to me is doing something very weird in his raincoat

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 6:20 PM PST up reply actions

that’s a helluva play by andre

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:13 PM PST reply actions

and an AWFUL foul by Speights.

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:14 PM PST reply actions

This has been an atrocious second half. As usual.

by FuquaManuel on Nov 9, 2009 6:19 PM PST reply actions

I know elton doesn’t match up well with them defensively, but who would cover him on D? Pathetic that Jordan only played him 21 minutes.

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:24 PM PST reply actions

only 3 more minutes than sam – and 4 more than bill – i know he hasn’t been playing that well but really?

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 6:28 PM PST up reply actions

Oh and we did everything better than them but defend the 3. Anybody in the Sixers going to realize this has been the problem for the past 10 years?

by Michael Levin on Nov 9, 2009 6:25 PM PST reply actions

15-30

are u serious coaching staff? and like i said before i’m surprised they ONLY made 50% of them

by Tanner Steidel on Nov 9, 2009 6:27 PM PST up reply actions

Find a year the sixers defended the 3 well…I’ll wait

by jemagee on Nov 10, 2009 6:46 AM PST up reply actions
