If he would show up....
We would be sooo much better. For those of you who have watched games, why is he struggling? Just lost it? Still injured? Learning new system?
The poor defensive reobunding and poor 3 point shooting aren’t helped that much by a better brand…
Don't frack with me or you'll get a punch in the kidneys...you've been warned

Yeah, I mean power fowards really aren’t suppossed to get too many rebounds…

He’s a better rebounder right now than the starting center

My patience
is starting to fade. Not at all happy w/ the rotations or coach these days. Kind of down between my Phils going into a hitting slump and sixers into a brain slump.
Hopefully someone will wake up at the sixers. Will go tommorrow night to the sixers but real hopeful I will see any improvement.
I think we are being too hard on Elton, I am willing to give him 10-15 games to get his mojo.
I hope we improve....
I want to either improve and in the next 2-3 yrs be competing for Division and Conf or get a top 5 pick to draft Sammy’s replacement (Cold Aldrich?).
A fairly pessimistic post
In no way was that a game where the sixers lost because the other team was better. Sixers shot themselves in the foot multiple times over. Just for fun, would anyone like to start keeping a tally of how many times Dalembert gets called for traveling in the paint? My guess is his traveling to goaltending ratio will be about 2:1 this season.
Classic Iguodala moment- missing both free throws at the end of the game.
Sixers would have won that game if Speights didn’t get hurt. The SIxers had built a 4-point lead, but were tied a few moments later when Speights knocked knees with a player and had to come out.
Between Speights. Iguodala and Green they were outscoring the Pistons. Unfortunately, Brand, Young and Dalembert were ineffective which is why the game was as close as it was. Detroit still plays good Defense and is very patient on offense, they deliberately wait until their rebounders are in position before they shoot. That is a pretty intelligent tactic when your players shoot long low-percentage shots. Still, the Sixers were unable make a bucket in the five minutes left after Speights went out is appalling. Only scoring after a Willie Green bucket were Iguodala’s free thows, He missed 3 out of the 7 he took, with only the final one, justified to give the Sixers a chance at a 4pt. play.
Disappointed that Wallace can still throw around our post players to get every board. But Speights and Smith are still very young and need to build up their strength. Brand couldn’t do anything with him, and neither could Sam.

It’s doubtful, but optimistic that they would have won with the rebounding so piss poor speights on or off the floor.
HOWEVER – I see no reason for Sam to continue starting, if ‘rooks’ get benched for crap ass play, why can’t ‘vets’ who still play like rookies?

Even if the refs were obviously in the cowboys pocket
I think a lineman jumped early on EVERY offensive play the cowboys ran

celtics syndrome?
if they commit a penalty every play the refs won’t call it in fear of slowing down the game

I guess, doesn’t explain screwing the eagles over on that second instant replay

Mcnabb was down a half yard further than the spot. It was really obvious that they spotted him when he got stopped in the pile, not when his elbow touched. Horrible call.

Yes there was – a crappy spot can be overturned
The refs allow illegal motion on every Dallas offensive play.
