Well…he played last game, and played some good minutes, though as I understand from viewer comments, he was pulled for ‘defensive’ purposes at the end of the game against nash which didn’t make any sense.

A journey of 1,000 miles starts with one step, step one was getting Jrue significant minutes in any game, and he seemed to do well with the minutes given, now, tonight, if Harris isn’t playing, the guards in Jersey aren’t that scary so ‘psyche preservation’ doesn’t count, if Jrue pulls a DNP-CD tonight, I will be starting up the Fire Jordan Bandwagon

And I’ll be in the front seat of that Bandwagon, hanging out the window, wearing a Halloween mask, throwing eggs at innocent vehicles. Oh wait…

Seriously, if Jrue gets the DNP-CD tonight…. I mean there’s no reason he should.

Speights should also start.

Yeah well jordan made some stupid comments about starting ‘mattering’ and brand and sam ‘earning’ it in pre season – nno mnetion about NOT earning it since the season started

Are we willing to accept Brand as a combination of old Chris Webber and Reggie Evans yet?

by jsams on Nov 11, 2009 10:07 AM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Nope – not yet – like i said – i’m giving him until at least 20 games and he’s not an egotist idiot like webber and has a higher bball iq than reggie evans

agreed

Gotta give EB some time but seriously give Jrue a chance!!

by fantasybc88 on Nov 11, 2009 1:31 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

short and sweet – i like it

by tsteidel on Nov 11, 2009 10:00 AM PST reply actions   0 recs

Agree

I will co chair the bandwagon.

I think it is way to soon to jump on Brand. He needs to play to get his mojo back. I believe he will be fine IF he gets enough minutes each game.

I agree too. I think brand is playin alright when he gets minutes. Hes not going to give you 20 and 10 anymore, lets face it, but he can still be a valuable player to this team. I can live with 15-18 points and 8 boards. And PLEASE let speights start for sammy!!!. If speights takes brands starting spot over sammy’s I will be calling for jordan’s job

Agree

I began this year w/ the attitude that our coach was fine. But, the more I watch and hear him, the more I become discouraged. Why in the world would he play Bill Green at all (we are building I thought for a championship), bench Brand in 4th quarter (no rebounds costing games) and not play Jrue after what we see with him.

Monday night I could not believe Lou taking 3 3 pointers (plan fine, but why is Jrue and Kapono on the bench) and no one rebounding after a miss? I don’t blame Lou as much as I believe he was following instructions.

Let’s hope tonight is a beginning of a new 76er team and don’t give NJ their first win. I fear I am wrong.

by DeanH on Nov 11, 2009 12:57 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

exactly! even if brand isnt producing great numbers, this team to me looks more relaxed and comfortable on offense when brand is on the floor. why would he not be on the floor in the crunchtime? he is the veteran leader of this team like it or not. I understand why wizards fans are so happy jordan is out of DC. And I swear half of us in here could coach this team better than anyone haha

by scarhart3 on Nov 11, 2009 1:05 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Disagree

80% of the bloggers here could coach this team better so far this year. I think most of us would get imput from other people and have a plan. As I have taught, you Plan to Fail if you Fail to Plan. That is being proved on the court by the 76ers.

by DeanH on Nov 11, 2009 3:14 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Ok – that’s just the most ridiculous hyperbole I’ve ever read.

Nothing personal against anyone who posts here but NONE of you could coach better than a guy with the experience level Jordan has – it’s NOT an easy job – is he crappy at it so far – yes – but no one here could do better

come on

you know I am being sarcastic. Good grief, Charlie Brown!

I can’t be sure what you’re doing any more…the whole Rush Limbaugh thing

by jemagee on Nov 11, 2009 4:02 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

What do you mean? I like Rush.

But I do understand. And I don’t blame you for saying what you said, you can’t figure out if one means it or not!

by DeanH on Nov 11, 2009 4:18 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

that was don imus

by tsteidel on Nov 11, 2009 7:11 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Wow fail on my part. Rush was the one who insulted McNabb, correct?

by YoSixers on Nov 12, 2009 1:22 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Among other things yes – Rush is a fat blowhard right wing racist hypocrit

by jemagee on Nov 12, 2009 4:46 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

I think I explained that I can’t respect the opinino of anyone who likes rush limbaugh since he’s a hypocritical right wing racist hateful blowhard who should drowin in a pool of his own filth.

It’s like people who voted for Shrub, twice, i dismiss them immediately as not worth knowing

by jemagee on Nov 11, 2009 4:37 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

If Jrue Holiday does not play tonight I will create fireeddiejordan.com and figure out to have a ‘clock’ that counts up the minutes/hours/days since jordans firing should have occured (apprximately the end of tonights game)

and if i yell at you in the game thread, it’s not your fault, it’s FOX Networks

by jemagee on Nov 11, 2009 1:49 PM PST reply actions   0 recs

I hope the website actually gets created. This guy’s rotation are extremely puzzling and I just do not understand his fear of giving our young guys more time on the court.

by YoSixers on Nov 11, 2009 2:45 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Well, i’m sure i’ll create it at some point (bought the domain today) but i think it’s a little early to call for it unless he continues to screw with jrue

by jemagee on Nov 11, 2009 3:04 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

No

I greatly hope not that you need to create that sight. But, if you have to create it, I am willing to split the cost with you if you want me to. I bought a season ticket this year and almost decided to sell it after the game Sunday. I am not upset at losses, I am upset at the circus of rotations on the court.

I only went to the game Monday with the hope of Jrue playing. He did not let me down!. I tweeted to PrestonPr the tweet on how the Thunder know how to build a team and how sick I am of seeing Green on the court. Of course, no response!
