who would we trade for him?

Andre MIller would be alright in my book – thought it seems foye is now a shooting guard and not even a shadow of a point any more :)

Here’s the answer.

doubt we will be drafting high enough for him but Stephon (sp) Curry might not be a bad pick. Seems like teams are high on him though so i doubt he’ll be around when we draft if we are out of the top ten. I dont think he will necessarily be a starter in the league but he can shoot.

I know it's early, but.

NBADraft.net has him at 19th overall. And Curry would be great, but I just see him as a really good bench player.

Most things I read have Curry as an NBA 2 – do we really need another one :)

Abundance of two's?

Isn’t Willie Green our only true shooting guard?

And I think he’s way, way too small to start at the two.

I’m just saying – they don’t see him as a creator.

Louis Williams is a two

Andre Iguodala is a 2 and if Thaddeus Young is going to develop has to learn how to be a 2

Curry is just too small to play the 2 in the NBA.

And isn’t a point guard. He’s an Eddie House-type player at best.

i think that’s just you missing AI lol. idk man, i kind of don’t like the combo guard thing that’s sweeping the draft these days. i love curry (the player) but i don’t think that’s the type of player that we need, i think we need a big man that can shoot, like a fat ludacris that isn’t as fat.. just ludacris idk…

shoot, as in the three?

Jason Smith looked like he had pretty nice range in the Summer League and Speights’ jumper is smooth.

We could definitely use Curry to stretch the defense and shoot 3’s as long as he’s playing the point and Iguodala’s on the court to be a facilitator.

That being said, is that what you want from your first round pick?

haha i was gona just click preview instead of post… not a good comment i know lol but yea i guess i meant like a big guy who can shoot the three. if there’s one thing i hate is when some huge ass non-athletic white dude drains a 3 on us.. i think that’s something we need, a mehmet okur type of player.. or i guess yea, jason smith, completely forgot about him again lol. but i almost don’t want a 1st round pick next year.. i don’t see us needing any more young players, i know that sounds ridiculous – us not needing a 1st round pick but i think that we would be better off dealing it along with someone for us to get a 5 or 6 year veteran who can teach the younger guys on our team things that apparently mo cheeks couldn’t teach them and just to be an instant impact type of player.. with that said, i really don’t know why i’m going to post this but i guess i am..

i don't think you can ever have enough young players

that being said, i’d love to trade the pick for a shooting vet or a point guard depending on what happens to Andre Miller.

And jason smith might be your favorite player next year lol

Dime Magazine thinks if DiLeo is serious about what he said – it’s a bad idea

I think he is serious.

And I think it’s an ok idea until Brand gets back. At least we’ll see if these players really suck as bad as we think they do.

5 threes a game isn't too much to ask.

you can’t force them to make them – they stink at making them – it’s just a fact

I just hope Speights attempts one.

I think he could make it.

i was thinking the same thing. So what if he wants them to shoot more. If they can’t make them now how will shooting them more help. I just can’t believe how these coaches are in the NBA and cannot seem to be able to teach or improve a players three point shot. Maybe it was just Mo not putting an emphasis on it in practices but you would think that someone would look at the stats and see a problem.
