Miller Won't Ask For A Trade
Andre Miller | 76ers
Their most tradable player is point guard Andre Miller, who is in the final season of a contract that pays $10 million this season. He would be attractive to a team looking to cut salary after the season while adding depth this season.
Miller knows this. But he said he won't ask for a trade to a contender if the Sixers don't improve their position in the next few weeks.
"I'm almost 33," Miller said. "Every player wants to be on a contender, but I don't want it to seem like if I was going that way, that it would be a bailout on the team. But I do understand that it's a business. I'm not going to fall into that trap. I'm just going to continue and go out and do my job."

Well not sure how much to trust the courier posts research what with them saying millers contract expires in 2010 (as opposed to 2009) – but they do say there has been little interest in Miller – but they don’t say if it ‘s because the sixers haven’t shopped him or teams really aren’t interested?

I’m sure a ton of teams would love to have Miller.
Pimpin' ain't easy and neither is being a Sixers fan. I manage to do both. Join me at Liberty Ballers, the SBNation 76ers blog. Don't make fun of the name either. It has nothing to do with the New York Liberty of the WNBA.
Well – see – I don’t actually believe what GMs say – it would be stupid to say you are shopping miller publicly (or to say allen iverson will never play for the sixers again on ESPN during a game – but hey) – the same article says there is no interest in miller – so if stefanski isn’t shopping miller the ‘no interest’ comment either means they aren’t calling or the courier post has it’s head up its ass
