Diop to Bobcats and Carroll to Mavs

Dallas has agreed to trade DeSagana Diop to the Bobcats for Matt Carroll and Ryan Hollins. Just thought i would post this. I really like Carroll as a shooter. His 3pt% is down this year but he is a career 40% 3pt shooter. This doesn't affect us much other than taking another potential trade target away. I don't think Stephanski was even trying to get carroll or had any interest in him but we do need a consistent shooter.

Star-divide

The Dallas Mavericks and Charlotte Bobcats have reached an agreement after last week's collapse of a three-way deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Mavericks and Bobcats completed a deal sending Dallas center DeSagana Diop to Charlotte for guard Matt Carroll and center Ryan Hollins on Friday...Carroll -- who is in the third season of a six-year, $27 million deal -- is shooting only 27 percent from 3-point range this season but is a career 40-percent shooter from distance.

This one, however, does not involve Bobcats guard Raymond Felton.

i would've loved to get hollins and carroll for sam

Pimpin' ain't easy and neither is being a Sixers fan. I manage to do both. Join me at Liberty Ballers, the SBNation 76ers blog. Don't make fun of the name either. It has nothing to do with the New York Liberty of the WNBA.
