Brand will not return Tonight

Brand out.

Elton will not return to night. I personally think that is a good thing since his return may have messed up the rhythm our team is in.

Star-divide

Elton Brand will not dress for Friday night's game against the San Antonio Spurs, though he did participate in the morning shoot around. Instead, the Sixers' starting power forward will be missing his 14th consecutive game after dislocating his right shoulder in a game on Dec. 17 against the Milwaukee Bucks...It is undecided if Elton Brand will play in New York Saturday night. Whenever he returns, the Sixers will hold fast to playing him in 4-to-5 minute spurts until they feel he has his legs back.

Thank God.

I wanna see what the Brand-less Sixers got one more time.

Pimpin' ain't easy and neither is being a Sixers fan. I manage to do both. Join me at Liberty Ballers, the SBNation 76ers blog. Don't make fun of the name either. It has nothing to do with the New York Liberty of the WNBA.

in SanAn

And that was after we battled back from 20(?) down. I’m telling you, shut down the three and we’re money. Easier said than done though.

I’m alright with it in principle – but don’t announce he’s ready if he’s not

yea im not sure why they were saying he was ready. I would much rather him make an appearance against New York if he is going to play this weekend.

I like the idea of Elton Brand more than I actually like him

John, I've been meaning to ask you.

Did you ever get your site going?

it’s partially there – it’s a lot harder than i thought to do the programming – hell figuring out how to check a login existing or not existing took me 3 hours – works been nuts – i’m working on it – but not saying anything more until i’m sure it actually will work :)

I need to figure out pick submission and how to handle blank picks – the ability to change your picks if there is time – scorings and rankings – and since login took me 3 freaking hours – i’m learning as i go – i has not idea how long the rest will tka.e

by Ben16 on Jan 16, 2009 5:44 PM PST up reply actions   0 recs

Nope – those things aren’t legal in the united states – i have a long term plan – but right now i’m just making a ‘game’ for picking the winners

still needs a lot of work before i can even start testing -

S’altight – just in case any feds are reading the sight – no gambling – purely for entertainment – if it ever gets popular / traffic i might give out some prizes of some sort.
