We Suck

We sucked hard tonight. There is no need for a recap. Here are some things you should know.

-Andre Miller was 7-24 with only 2 assists. He sucks.

-Andre Iguodala shot 4-12 with 5 turnovers and played bad defense. He sucks.

-Thaddeus Young is good. Every night.

-Brand gets doubled and tripled every time he touches it. No one moves. They suck.

Until further notice, I expect this team to suck. I'm a little irrational right now, but I'm sick of this team's suckfest.

Player of the Game: Thad, again.

Box score

Record: 2-4

Favorite Open Thread Comment: None. We we're all depressed.

The thing hurting our team is we do not get open when brand is doubled and when we do we throw up bricks. I think we will get better. The team, in my opinion, is still getting used to brand. Having him is a big difference from the way they used to run things last year.

and I quote...

Homer Simpson said it best: “Yeah, Moe, that team sure did suck last night. They just plain sucked! I’ve seen teams suck before, but they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked!”
I am equally irritated and dissapointed with our defense, shooting, turnovers, lack of assists and our energy most of all. WTF!!! If Thad wasn’t playing so well, I might be punching strangers in the street. Let’s hope the 4 day rest allows them to regroup. I’m not going to hold my breath though.

I've calmed down

I’ll bust out a legit post later.

Where will you be when the Sixers hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy? Hopefully Liberty Ballers.

Mo Cheeks says...

“I thought [Iguodala] played a nice game,” Sixers coach Maurice Cheeks said. "I don’t want his game to be based on just making shots. He’s a more fluid type player. He can do other things. I’d certainly like his shot to go down a little more, but . . . "

Iggy and Willie Green both looked pathetic last night… there’s no other word for it. Lou wasn’t much better… He’s the living definition of a gunner. And what the hell happened to Andre Miller??? He got open shot after open shot and couldn’t hit the side of a barn.

That was some BAD basketball.
